Hello and welcome to the Class 2 page,
Yesterday Year 2 went on a fantastic trip to the Oxford Natural History Museum, the children went into a dinosaur workshop where they got to handle real fossils, dinosaur bones, dinosaur skin and dinosaur poo! The children immersed themselves in the wonderful artefacts learning first hand from the museums excellent staff all about our local history and it’s part in the discovery of Dinosaurs. After our workshop we were able to walk around the museums permanent exhibitions which offers many hands on opportunities to touch bears, crocodile skin, otters, elephant teeth and many more exciting things. After a spot of lunch we walked onto University parks for a play in the grounds and a chance to climb some exciting trees and learn about the local fauna and flora.
