Last Term
FASHION SHOW
The Fashion Show went ahead as planned, despite the near Arctic conditions outside the School hall. Those attending saw a wide selection of children’s and ladies’ clothes modeled on the catwalk by members of the school community. Simon Poote provided an amusing commentary as the models glided up and down the catwalk.

The evening ended with an opportunity to buy, which of course most people attending could not resist.
The MLSA would like to record its gratitude to Sara Higgs and thank her for organizing this event. The MLSA would also like to say “Thank you” to the models, parents, committee members and staff who made the Fashion Show a success, raising as it did £313

On 18 March there will be a Bag2School collection. This is an opportunity to have a clear out so you can now fit all the clothes bought at the Fashion Show into your drawers and wardrobes! Items that are suitable for collection by Bag2School include ladies’, men’s and children’s clothes, bedding, curtains, soft toys, shoes, belts and handbags. Please note that all items are intended for re-use. No bric-a-brac please. On the last occasion we collected 274kgs of goods raising a worthwhile £82.20 for the school.
